Go Abby!

Playing outside on his bike already
Ready to shoot some hoops

Such a ladies man...
Enjoying a cool fall Saturday
Those eyes...

I never really know how to start out my updated blogs each week because sometimes it can just be an ordinary week and there just isn't too much to say! My best friend Abby did a 150 mile bike race this weekend called Ride to Conquer Cancer for her mother that passed away 4 years ago from cancer. Most of you if you are reading this don't know her but she's an amazing girl! Just wanted to let her know I was thinking about her while she was on a bike 7 hours each day of the 2 day race!
No huge changes in Dane. Just being the adorable kid that he is!

What a good deal!

A ton of stuff...

Riding his new lion walker

Twice a year, Warsaw hosts the "Kids Market" in Winona Lake. It's a community garage sale with all baby clothes, toys, books and maternity items. I've gone the last two times but really took advantage of it this time since I noticed Dane's closet was a little scarce on 12 month clothes and he's just about there with how long he is. It started at 8 am on Saturday and Michael, Dane and I were in line at 7:45 behind about 30 other people. It was crazy!!! We ended up getting a ton of clothes for him...all name brand including 6 pairs of pants, 5 pairs of shoes, a winter coat, 5 different vests, 7 shirts, 6 pull over fleece sweatshirts, another baby carrier and a rider/walker for Dane for $100. Well worth it to say the least! You just can't beat it!

Growing....

Comparing paws...
My girls are so sweet with him
loves his standing bench
Eating a pear in the pool
I know what you're thinking...so stop...their babies!

I don't really have anything too new to tell everyone this week! It was pretty uneventful but fulfilling as always to stay at home and be with Dane each day to watch him change. His crawling gets faster, he is constantly babbling and seems to just look at me sometimes like he really knows what I'm thinking and is trying to talk back to me. Especially in the afternoons after he naps and he's still in that tired phase and just stares and then smiles at me while he's eating his snack. I just can't get over how fast time flies. It's hard to imagine that 8 months have already gone by since he was born. I've really learned to take everything day by day and just enjoy the moments as they come. As my sister would say, "I love my boring life!"

Almost 8 Months Old...Army crawling and Da-Da

Lucy, Dane and I

Always sleeping with dad

It's crazy how much can happen in a week! Dane started moving across the carpet and waking up in the mornings saying Da-Da...what happened to ma-ma...the one who's with him every moment! No worries, I'm sure he'll be saying it one of these days! We were able to hit up the blueberry festival this weekend a few times for the food and crafts. It's huge! I went with two other girls on Saturday morning and it took a half of a day just to get through all of the booths. Michael, Dane and I went with a couple the next night to get food. We've been going every year now to get the blueberry donuts...between Michael and I, we ate a dozen in one sitting!  I'll just have to run an extra day this week!
What a great long weekend! Fall weather is definitely in the air. Bring on the bonfires, jeans and sweatshirts and most importantly to Michael...deer hunting!
