Christmas time!

Our family tradition...making Jesus a birthday cake. That way on Christmas we can have a special moment to remember what Christmas is really about by taking time later in the day to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas.

Our poor Christmas tree was disposed of on Christmas day at 1 in the morning...every time we touched it, showers of needles came down! So we brought Dane's tree from his room out to put up in the morning for Dane.

As you can tell...we're still working on it

Lucy is going to be 2 months old on Tuesday...wow how time flies by! She is a wonderful baby. On average I'm only up once a night with her and she's eating well. Dane is starting to get excited for Christmas. He loves to look at the lights in the neighborhood while we walk Lola before bed and has his own little Christmas tree in his bedroom. Can't believe he's going to be 2 next month. So many great memories in just 2 short years!

Ok so it's not as easy to update this every week...so it might just have to be every two weeks now. Kids are doing great! Enjoying being a new mommy all over again. Lucy is starting to settle in with a pattern on sleep. We are usually up every 3 hours but she's been doing wonderful nursing and than laying back down again to sleep. Makes my life easier!
